A joyful 8-year-old who dreams of becoming someone influential.
Toslima is an 8-year-old girl from south-east Bangladesh whose days are filled with laughter and imagination. Born on 19 April 2017, she loves playing with dolls and creating her own little worlds of possibility. She adores chicken biryani, enjoys wearing colourful frocks, and is especially fond of the colour red. In her own words, she hopes to become someone important one day, someone who makes a difference.
She lives with her parents and family members in a household supported by her father’s farming work, which provides a modest income. With several needs to meet and limited resources, careful planning is part of daily life. Her mother, who is also her guardian, works tirelessly to ensure Toslima grows up in a caring and supportive home.
Through access to quality education at JAAGO Foundation School, Toslima is gaining the confidence and skills she needs to shape her future. With encouragement and opportunity, she can continue learning and growing into the capable young girl she aspires to be.
