A bubbly 9-year-old who dreams of becoming a teacher.
Tanha is an imaginative 9-year-old girl from south-central Bangladesh with a joyful and expressive personality. Born on 11 August 2016, she loves drawing and letting her creativity flow onto paper. She enjoys wearing her favourite frocks, playing on her beloved swing, and surrounding herself with the colour pink. Tanha dreams of becoming a teacher one day, inspired by her desire to guide and encourage young minds just like her own.
She lives with her parents in a modest household supported by her father’s small workshop business, which provides a modest income. Her mother cares for the home and serves as her guardian. Although the family works hard, managing education costs alongside daily expenses can be challenging. Still, they remain hopeful and committed to Tanha’s future.
Through access to quality education at JAAGO Foundation School, Tanha is building confidence, creativity and essential skills. With steady encouragement and opportunity, she can continue learning and move closer to her dream of becoming a teacher.
