An energetic 9-year-old who dreams of becoming a police officer.
Tanbir is a lively 9-year-old boy from south-central Bangladesh with a curious mind and a brave heart. Born on 23 May 2016, he enjoys drawing and playing with a bat and ball in his free time. His favourite meal is rice and meat, and he loves wearing green shirts and trousers. Tanbir dreams of becoming a police officer one day, inspired by the idea of being strong, helpful and protective in his community.
He lives with his parents and family members in a modest household supported by his father’s work in a wood shop, which provides a modest income. His mother cares for the home and also serves as his guardian. With several family members relying on one income, meeting daily needs can be challenging, yet his parents remain committed to supporting his education.
Through access to quality education at JAAGO Foundation School, Tanbir is building confidence and essential skills for the future. With steady encouragement and opportunity, he can continue learning and move closer to achieving his dream.
