Shantona is a bright 9-year-old girl from north-west Bangladesh who approaches life with curiosity and confidence. Born on 13 February 2016, she loves playing with dolls, enjoying her favourite fish dishes, and wearing her pink frocks. With a warm smile and a strong sense of imagination, she dreams of becoming a police officer one day—someone courageous who protects others and stands up for what is right.
She lives with her parents in a hardworking household supported by her father’s driving work and her mother’s tailoring and care at home, which together provide a modest income. Although resources can be limited, her family remains hopeful and committed to supporting her education and personal growth.
Through access to quality education at JAAGO Foundation School, Shantona is developing the knowledge and confidence she needs for the future. With encouragement and opportunity, she can continue learning and take meaningful steps towards achieving her dream.
