A gentle 8-year-old who hopes to inspire young minds as a teacher.
Sariya is a kind-hearted 8-year-old girl from south-central Bangladesh with a calm and caring spirit. Born on 26 October 2017, she finds joy in tending to plants and playing with her dolls. She loves wearing bright frocks, especially in shades of pink, and enjoys simple snacks like bananas and eggs. Sariya dreams of becoming a teacher one day, inspired by her wish to guide and support children as they grow and learn.
She lives with her parents in a modest household supported by her father’s workshop work, which provides a modest income. Her mother cares for the home and serves as her guardian, encouraging Sariya’s curiosity and love of learning. Although finances can be tight, her family holds strong hopes for her education and future.
Through access to quality education at JAAGO Foundation School, Sariya is building confidence and essential skills. With steady encouragement and opportunity, she can continue her studies and move closer to achieving her dream of becoming a teacher.
