A caring 8-year-old who dreams of becoming a teacher.
Priya is a thoughtful 8-year-old girl from north-west Bangladesh who carries a quiet determination beyond her years. Born on 20 March 2017, she loves playing with her dolls, wearing jeans and bright tops, and surrounding herself with her favourite colour, red. She enjoys eating oranges and often talks about her dream of becoming a teacher, inspired by her wish to help others learn and grow with confidence.
She lives with her parents in a hardworking household supported by her father’s small bakery business, which provides a modest income. Her mother cares for the home and encourages Priya’s studies. Although the family works tirelessly, meeting long-term educational costs can be challenging. Even so, her parents remain deeply committed to nurturing her potential.
Through access to quality education at JAAGO Foundation School, Priya is building strong foundations for her future. With steady encouragement and opportunity, she can continue learning and move closer to achieving her dream of becoming a teacher.
