A creative 10-year-old who dreams of becoming a teacher.
Oishi is a bright 10-year-old girl from south-central Bangladesh with a thoughtful and imaginative spirit. Born on 15 October 2015, she loves expressing herself through drawing and enjoys playing with her dolls. She feels happiest wearing her favourite blue frock and sharing a meal of rice and meat with her family. Oishi dreams of becoming a teacher one day, inspired by her love of learning and her desire to guide and encourage others.
She lives with her parents in a modest household supported by her father’s work as a day labourer and her mother’s tailoring, which together provide a modest income. Her mother also serves as her guardian. Although the family works hard, meeting education costs alongside daily expenses can be challenging. Still, they remain deeply committed to Oishi’s future.
Through access to quality education at JAAGO Foundation School, Oishi is building confidence and essential skills for the years ahead. With steady encouragement and opportunity, she can continue learning and move closer to her dream of standing proudly at the front of a classroom.
