A kind-hearted 12-year-old who dreams of becoming a teacher.
Nupur is a gentle 12-year-old girl from north-west Bangladesh who finds joy in learning and sharing her knowledge with others. Born on 26 January 2014, she loves playing hide and seek, cuddling her doll, and wearing her favourite blue frock. She especially enjoys chicken and often pretends to teach lessons at home, already imagining herself standing confidently in front of a classroom one day.
She lives with her parents and grandmother in a close-knit household supported by her father’s work as a rickshaw puller, which brings in a modest income. Her mother manages the home and cares for the family. Although finances can be tight, her family deeply values education and encourages Nupur to stay focused on her studies.
Through access to quality education at JAAGO Foundation School, Nupur is strengthening her skills and confidence. With continued encouragement and opportunity, she can keep moving towards her dream of becoming a teacher and inspiring the next generation.
