A caring 8-year-old who dreams of becoming a teacher.
Nila is an 8-year-old girl from north-west Bangladesh with a gentle and imaginative spirit. She loves wearing her favourite red frock, playing with dolls, and enjoying a warm plate of rice with her family. Kind and thoughtful, Nila already shows signs of leadership among her classmates and often speaks about her dream of becoming a teacher who guides and supports others.
She lives with her parents, who work hard in modest livelihoods to support their household. With a modest income and rising daily expenses, ensuring consistent access to education can be challenging. Even so, her family values learning and encourages Nila to stay focused on her studies.
Through access to quality education and a safe, supportive learning environment at JAAGO Foundation School, Nila can continue building the confidence and skills she needs for the future. Your support can help her stay on her educational journey and move closer to inspiring the next generation.
