Md. Khorshed Alam is a cheerful 10-year-old boy with a lively spirit and a kind heart. Born on 28 December 2015, he fills his days with laughter, exploration and energetic games of football with friends. Curious about the world around him, Khorshed dreams of becoming a doctor so he can care for others and make a difference in his community.
He lives with his parents in south-east Bangladesh. His father runs a small shop, earning a modest income, while his mother cares for the family at home. The household carefully manages its resources to ensure the children are supported and encouraged in their studies.
