A curious 9-year-old inspired to protect and serve others.
Jogonath is a thoughtful 9-year-old boy from north-west Bangladesh who looks up to police officers with admiration. Born on 7 March 2016, he enjoys playing with toy cars, eating fresh apples, and wearing his favourite bright red t-shirt. In his games, he often imagines himself protecting others and standing up for what is right, reflecting both his playful spirit and growing sense of responsibility.
He lives with his parents in a hardworking household supported by his father’s work as a rickshaw puller, which brings in a modest income. His mother cares for the family at home, ensuring he grows up in a stable and loving environment. Although finances can be tight, his parents remain committed to supporting his education and encouraging his ambitions.
Through access to quality education at JAAGO Foundation School, Jogonath is building strong foundations for his future. With steady guidance and opportunity, he can continue learning and move closer to achieving his dream of serving his community.
