Joba is an enthusiastic 8-year-old girl from north-west Bangladesh with a bright smile and a love for learning. Born on 6 February 2017, she enjoys playing with her dolls, wearing her favourite frock, and surrounding herself with her favourite colour, pink. Kind and caring by nature, Joba dreams of becoming a teacher one day so she can guide and inspire others just as she hopes to be inspired.
She lives with her parents and siblings in a modest household supported by her father’s farming, which provides a modest income. Her mother cares for the family at home. With one main earner supporting the family, meeting daily needs can be challenging, yet her parents remain devoted to giving their children the best possible future through education.
Through access to quality education at JAAGO Foundation School, Joba is building confidence and essential skills for the years ahead. With steady encouragement and opportunity, she can continue learning and move closer to her dream of standing proudly at the front of a classroom.
